SUMMARY:
NOTlooking for someone whom has just supported a Technology area and not looking for anyone whom is really technical.
IDEALexperience would be someone whom came from Operations and has Cross-Functional experience. This is a mid-sr level role that right now is slated to go until October. Candidate will be highly skilled at being able to work hand and hand with Subject Matter Experts in their respective area and translate their needs into functional specs/requirements. Think outside the box and be able to create an Operational process as well. Someone from a reference date background would be ideal.
KEY DUTIES:
-The role will involve providing business knowledge to the project environment, at different levels and to differing degrees of specificity and breath.
-The candidate will need to provide conceptual solutions to often complicated business problems / needs and make recommendations for preferred solutions, with consideration of associated risks, cost and timescales.
-They will also need to contribute to the development of the documentation of Business Operating Models, Business Requirements, Organisational Designs and Solution / Functional Designs and assist Business areas to understand their problems and subsequent requirements and solutions.
-In addition to supporting / managing the implementation of the required solutions and making recommendations to improve procedures and working practices, the candidate will be expected to work with Senior Management and executives to facilitate the sign off / agreement of solutions and recommendations via presentations and one to one workshops.
-Stakeholder Management: The candidate will assist the project team to define the requirements to meet their strategic objectives.
-Project Management: The role will require contribution to the identification and impact assessment of programme and project issues and risks.
-Third Party Management: The candidate will be expected to build and maintain relationships with external suppliers/ contractors /consultants as required in order to progress Business Analysis assignments.
REQUIRED:
-The ideal candidate should have experience in delivery of high-quality analysis through managing teams and developing capability within those teams.
-They will be comfortable employing a broad and diverse range of business analysis best practices, disciplines, methodologies and tools.
-Exposure to governance, control and risk management is essential.
-The candidate should also have proven ability to effectively work across teams at all levels.
-Ideally, they would have financial Industry experience e.g. Wealth Solutions Regulated Background/Financial Industry and experience of Wealth management in general and Product/Instrument data management systems in particular would be advantageous.
-The candidate should have command of business analysis techniques – including the application of industry-standard methodologies, techniques, complex modelling, scenario planning and use of software.
-They will have a strong understanding of means of business requirements gathering - including business process re-engineering, input into organisational design, operating models.
-The candidate will be able to demonstrate innovative problem solving – ability to challenge the status quo and drive beneficial change.
-Educated to degree or MBA level this candidate should be able to meet the intellectual demands of the job, or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
-Excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills is essential with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
